VEGAS Preconference Activities
WISPCON VEGAS is
filled with Preconference things to do.
We understand that many times a one hour session is not long
enough to learn everything you need to about a particular
product or deployment concept. With that in mind, many
manufacturers, distributors, resellers, WISPs and PART-15.ORG
will be providing additional training during the preconference
activities. You must be a Full
Conference Pass Holder to attend the Pre-Conference Activities

FCC
CHAIRMAN MICHAEL K. POWELL TO PROVIDE OPENING KEYNOTE
 Unprecedented
at prior WISPCONs and most other License Exempt shows, Federal
Communications Commission, Chairman Michael Powell will be the
"Kick-Start" for WISPCON Vegas by providing the Opening
Keynote Address.
The
FCC has always been supportive of the License Exempt Wireless community at the
previous WISPCONs but WISPCON VI attendees will be getting a
special treat. FCC Chairman Michael K. Powell will not only be in
attendance, but also providing the Opening Keynote followed by a
"Town Meeting". The Town Meeting is an open forum where
WISPs will have the opportunity to ask questions to the FCC
Officials.
We
are extremely excited to see the Chairman come to WISPCON VI. Once
again, the FCC shows their continuing support for WISPs.
