innovative and intelligent wireless controls that remotely turn
“on” or “off” any electrical device. The use of commonly
available paging or satellite signals allows any user to activate
electrical products from any telephone or PC, anywhere in the
world.
Our History
NightHawk
Systems, Inc. established itself over 10 years ago in the
electronic control industry. Founded in the early 1990’s, we
began with the revolutionary idea of delivering low cost wireless
solutions for industrial and commercial control by using common
paging service. From
the beginning, the company focused its development of printed
circuit board (PCB) controls by incorporating paging technology.
Utilizing our extensive knowledge of paging technology,
NightHawk Systems developed a line of data receiving boards that
obtained pages and translated its message into a command that
electronic devices could understand. This command turns virtually
any electrical device “on” or “off”! The success of our
board-level products continued to expand throughout the 1990’s.
The year 2001 produced our most innovative and popular products,
the NightHawk NH2 remote control unit and our CEO-700 whole house
meter disconnect.
In 2003,
NightHawk Systems, Inc. announced an exciting relationship with
ORBCOMM, the owner and operator of low Earth orbiting satellite
systems (LEO). This
relationship initiated a method for us to reliably provide two-way
communications anywhere in the world.
This opportunity with Orbcomm tops our long list of
technological milestones. Orbcomm provided us with the
unprecedented ability to offer low cost control solutions to
virtually any customer, anywhere in the world.
Today
NightHawk’s
customers include over 40 utilities, dozens of State Departments
of Transportation, Federal and State government facilities,
Fortune 500 Companies, Internet service providers, and a multitude
of customers with varying control needs. One thing unites them
all…the need for a low cost and easily implemented control
solution. NightHawk
Systems, Inc. continues to reliably deliver this solution.
