Reduced Hotel Rates for Attendees

WISPCON attendees can once again enjoy reduced hotel rates. Attendee room rates are as low as $89.00 per night.

We have reserved only a specific number of rooms. If you register late, you may not be eligible for the WISPCON special rates. Therefore, make your guest room reservations as early as possible. Other hotels are available, but approximately five miles away.

Making your Guest Room Reservations:

WISPCON VIII will be held at the American Airline Training Center in Dallas Texas DO NOT TRY TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS ON THEIR WEBSITE. To get the WISPCON VIII discount room rates, you MUST call them with your reservation needs.  You can call the hotel at 1-800-777-6464 and ask for the Reservations Department. Make sure you tell them that you're coming in for WISPCON and if you are a P15 member. Your P15 membership number will be required to receive reduced rates

Sleeping - (Yea, right)   The hotel has about 300 rooms for us. I highly suggest that you make you hotel reservations as early as possible.

Our staff has managed to get the normal $129.00 room charges down to $89.00 per day. 

Air Travel - WISPCON VIII will be using American Airlines as the "Official Airline". For an even greater savings, book your reservations at least 21 days in advance. When you call American's reservations desk, make sure you provide them the WISPCON VIII Conference Code "37H3AS".  To make your American Airlines Reservations, call 1.800.433-1790

Ground Transportation - FREE WISPCON SHUTTLE - Dallas/Forth Worth Airport - Conference 

This shuttle is provided complimentary by the American Airlines Training Center. To take advantage of the FREE WISPCON SHUTTLE:

• Upon arrival at DFW, proceed to the nearest baggage claim area. Using the courtesy phones provided at the "Hotel/Transportation" info board, dial AATCC to notify us of your arrival. There will be a three digit dialing number appearing on the board next to the AATCC name. This is your location identifier and the operator will confirm your location, and provide you with instructions regarding your point of pickup.

• Shuttles depart the AATCC Lodge entrance of the Convention Center. We suggest clients depart at least one and a half hours (1 1/2) hours prior to their flight time.

Eating - The American Airlines Training Center has lots to offer for your eating enjoyment. Everything from fast food to formal dining. The food prices are EXCELLENT along with great food.  But have no fear, we are in the process of locating our infamous WISPCON VIII EAT-A-THON for Monday night. A WISPCON Tradition that gathers over 150 attendees. Al's Charhouse is going to be hard to beat, but I think we can give them some good competition.

Arrival - As with all WISPCONs you may arrive Sunday night and receive your conference materials and pickup your name badge. PART-15.ORG staff and WISPCON VIII volunteers and Sponsors will be available at the WISPCON VIII Registration Center, Sunday evening from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and anyone wishing to pickup their WISPCON VIII handbook, name badge, and chat with other WISPers can also enjoy a complimentary drink (Stu, this means ONLY ONE) sponsored by WISPCON VIII.
