Sunday, March 14th Pre- Conference - There are lots of manufacturer specific training programs scheduled for today. Please check back often for updates and availability. 

 

YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED WISPCON ATTENDEE TO ATTEND THESE WORKSHOPS.

 

 

Telex Communications:  - Telex Communications welcomes all WISPCON V attendees - Telex Communications would like to invite all WISPCON V attendees to join them for drinks and snacks Sunday evening from 6pm to 9pm in the ___ room.

 

 

 

Alvarion:  - Alvarion Inc. Training Session - OFDM Technology Seminar

Alvarion, Inc is pleased to present a One Day seminar on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) Technology.  This seminar will comprise an overview of OFDM and a look at FCC regulations governing the use of the Unlicensed 5.8 GHZ ISM frequency band.  An in depth look into the technical aspects of OFDM technology will be presented, as well as an overview all Alvarion OFDM products, their technical specifications, implementation, and configuration.

 

The Alvarion session is scheduled from 8:00am to 4:00pm and will be located in the Byrne room.

 

 

 

 

 

ImageStream:  - Doug Hass, These half day sessions will concentrate on two of the WISPs major issues regarding infrastructure control: Quality of Service concepts and configuration tutorial and BGP concepts and configuration.

 

The ImageStream sessions are scheduled from 8am to noon and noon to 4pm and will be located in the Maher room.

 

 

 

 

smartBridges:  - Naveen Chhangani, Technical Marketing Manager, smartBridges - This half day training will concentrate on deploying the various smartBridge product lines. smartBridges offer a complete range of high performance, carrier-class, Wide-Area Wireless Networking products. These easy to use equipment allows for the fast deployment, provisioning and maintenance of the WISP networks. In this seminar we will demonstrate how to apply and configure our equipment for the various network applications including WISP, MTU/MDU, RV Parks, Backhaul connectivity and the HotSpot operators.

The smartBridges session is scheduled from 8:00am to noon and will be located in the Elmslie room.

 

 

MikroTik:  - John Tully, This half day afternoon training will concentrate on deploying the various MikroTik product lines.

The MikroTik session is scheduled from 1pm to 5:00pm and will be located in the Griffin room.

 

 

Redline Communications:  -

Redline's Sunday Workshop will be presented by Louis Lambert, Director of North American Sales and Dave Rumore, Territory Manager 

This half day, afternoon session will concentrate on deploying the various Redline Communications product lines including the new AN-30, the native T1 circuit and high speed IP traffic link.

The Redline session is scheduled from 1pm to 4:00pm and will be located in the Griffin room.

 

 

 

Times Microwave:  - Phil Moyher, This half day morning training will concentrate on proper cable selections and also hands-on cable connector installations.

 

The Times Microwave session is scheduled from 9am to noon and will be located in the Percell room.

 

 

 

 

 

 

VoIP on Asterisk:  - Brian Capouch, Many have heard about Asterisk and some have not. This session is designed to provide a "start-to-finish" installation of a VoIP solution using the Open Source Asterisk Operating System

 

The VoIP on Asterisk session is scheduled from noon to 4:00pm and will be located in the Percell room.

 

 

 

PART-15.ORG Annual Membership Meeting:  - Michael Anderson, This all day meeting is a MEMBERS ONLY (or by invitation of the Chairman) annual meeting. The agenda for this meeting can be seen here.

 

The PART-15.ORG Annual Membership Meeting session is scheduled from 9am to 4:00pm and will be located in room _____.
