Cor van de Water Senior System Engineer, Broadband Services Division Proxim Corporation

 

Cor van de Water has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology. He worked at Philips Consumer Electronics and Ericsson Mobile Networks before he joined Agere Systems as a Senior Systems Engineer, working on IEEE 802.11 based radio technology to provide Outdoor connectivity between Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks under the Orinoco brand name. This development was recently merged into Proxim Corporation's Broadband Services Division.

 

He is living in Nieuwegein, in the Netherlands. He is married and father to a daughter and a son. He is an active member of the Protestant Church and most of his hobbies are centered around Renewable Energy and Environmental conservation.
